1940 Australian press feature article on Bulgaria.
„Oh, no, there is no hurry in this country, and it seems that the only occasion when Bulgarians throw off their lethargy and fatalism is when meeting Macedonians, their old enemies, or when drink, music and dance reveal their real southern temperament.“
It strongly suggests a lack of a close link between Bulgarians and Macedonians !
