Macedonian who Held Miss Stone for ransom reported dead
London, April 24 - The Sofia, Bulgaria, correspondent of Reuter's Telegram Company, says that Yane Sandusky (Sandanski), the Macedonian brigand leader, who gained noteriety in 1901 through the kidnapping of Miss Ellen M. Stone an American missionary, has been slain by unknown persons. Sandusky (Sandanski) was killed in the district between the mountain of Perun and the town of Nevrokop.
