EN - Terracotta figurines of Goddesses, Isar Marvinci, IV century BC
Discovered in the archaeological site of Isar Marvinci that is located near the city Valandovo in the south-eastern part of Macedonia. This figurines are dated in the IV century BC which is the classical period in Macedonia.
The figurines represented many goddesses depending on that to whom was the deceased praying to. They had a religious purpose symbolizing the hope and love towards the mythological idols and gods that they represented.
