Macedonian Appeal To Paris, To the Editor of The Times, The Times, London 1919-08-16
"...We two million Macedonians are anxiously awaiting a just and equitable settlement of the Macedonian question...
The precarious conditions in Macedonia is the chief cause on the conflict among the Balcan States. Our neighbour are doing all they can to become masters of our unhappy land and the greatest misfortunes of the Macedonian population are due to their sinister antagonism...
We ernestly beg that the Peace Conference pay no heed to the intrigues of Balcan diplomacy, and that it shall not permit the dismemberment of our country; that it anul the fatal Bukarest Treaty of 1913, and create Macedonia, an independente State under the disinterested protectorate of one of the Great Powers...
An independent Macedonia..."
